How to get Resident Evil 2 Remake shotgun and grenade launcher

Once you’ve finished the initial segment and acquired the notebook from the unfortunate officer in the east area behind the ground floor shutters, you’ll encounter Marvin. He provides you with a useful knife, which you can use to access the western part of the station. Simply use the knife to slice through the tape, and this is where your adventure really starts.

Navigate from the reception through the hallways, keeping an eye out for every potential hiding spot to gather ammunition and health items. This is crucial for your survival. Eventually, you’ll arrive at the operations room. You won’t find the card you’re looking for here, so proceed to the window for a swift departure. Remember, thorough exploration and resource gathering are key to your progress in this phase of the game.

Continue playing as normal, making sure to note the location of the Safety Deposit room, as this is where you’ll eventually return to obtain the shotgun or grenade launcher. Near the dark room, you’ll find a staircase swarming with zombies. It’s advisable to take them out with headshots as you ascend. While it’s possible to dodge past them, the narrow turns increase the risk of being bitten.

Once you reach the third floor, enter the room and look for a desk illuminated by a light. Here, you’ll find the spade key.

After securing the key, make your way back downstairs, retracing your steps toward the west office. At the end of this office, you’ll find a few steps leading to a door that provides a shortcut back to the main hall. Use the spade key to unlock this door. Then, proceed upstairs in the main hall to the east side. Here, you’ll encounter another door that requires the spade key. Open it, pass through the Waiting Room, and continue along the corridor heading slightly north until you reach the Art Room.

You are now close to completing this segment of the game.

In the Art Room, be on the lookout for a small antique end table with a green lamp. Right in front of this lamp, you will find the weapons locker keycard. Once you have the keycard, your next step is to return to the Main Hall. Use the shortcut you previously opened in the West Office to make your way back to the safety deposit room.

Upon reaching the safety deposit room, look for the shotgun or grenade launcher located at the end of the room. There will be a card reader to the right of these weapons. Simply combine the keycard with the card reader, and you’ll gain access to the weapon. Now, you’re equipped to deal with the zombies more effectively, provided you have enough ammo. Remember, conserving ammunition is key, so use your new firepower wisely!
